Gopichand was born on 12 June 1982 in hyderabad. gopichand is the younger son of the filmmaker T. Krishna - broke into the scene with Tholi Valapu as hero. gopichand was 12 years old when his father T. Krishna died. gopichand completed his studies in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. There was no direct influence of his father on him in his childhood. gopichand did his engineering degree in Russia.gopichand was not interested in films and acting at that time.Gopichand elder brother T. Premchand was working as an associate director to Mutyala Subbayya. Premchand made his debut as director and started working on a film under his home banner, but he died in a car accident. Gopichand was in Russia during the death of his brother and could not attend his funeral due to Visa problems.gopichand has a sister also, who is a dentist.
gopichand decided to enter the film industry. After completing his engineering, gopichand did dialogue modulation course for a year. Then gopichand made his debut as hero with ‘Toli Valapu’.
After doing villain roles in Jayam, Varsham and Nijam, gopichand got a role in Yagnam.
Gopichand was noted for his performance in Ranam in 2006. Okkadunnadu (2007) revolved around real estate and the mafia. Lakshyam (2007) was another major hit for him. The movie also starred Anushka and Jagatpati Babu.
gopichand's next film, Souryam, was released in September 2008. That year, gopichand acted only in one film, Sankham, which released on 11 September 2009. gopichand next film, Golimar, was released on 27 May 2010. recently his movie was wanted but not up to the mark…
