Box office report

Ishq : Nitin and Nithya Menon's 'Ishq' has opened last weekend across Andhra Pradesh and this romantic entertainer has been received extremely well. The movie has been directed by Vikram Kumar and Shreshta Movies Banner has produced the flick. Nitin has finally received the much needed boost to his career and he is seen as Rahul in the movie. Nithya Menon is seen as Priya. Ajay is seen as Shiva, the possessive and angry brother of Priya.

The movie has some very good performances from Nitin and Nithya. The romantic track is a treat to watch and their onscreen chemistry is just incredible. The scenes in the airport and Goa have come out really well. There is subtle humour and some nice dialogues really elevate the scenes. Songs have been shot well and P.C.Sriram's incredible cinematography is a major treat to watch. Ajay delivers a fine performance and Ali entertains along with Srinivas Reddy in a brief cameo.

Some illogical sequences and slow narration in the second half hamper proceedings slightly. The lack of mass elements in the film might hamper its run in B and C areas to a certain extent. Better care should have been taken with respect to screenplay in the second half.
