Eega Movie Collections Crossed 50 Crore Mark



SS Rajamouli is now on cloud nine. The Telugu director has been carried away by the overwhelming response to his latest multilingual movie Eega, which has received an earth-shattering opening at the worldwide Box Office. He has gone speechless with huge congratulatory message that he has been receiving on Twitter ever since the film hit the screens across the globe.

His graphical wonder Eega has got rave reviews from all critics. The movie has mesmerised the viewers with its amazing waku doki special effects. The elated director took to his Twitter page to share his excitement over huge success of the film. The spell-bound helmer kept on thanking the film-goers for their wonderful support. He tweeted, “Wanted to stay off twitter for a few days. But ppl kept telling me the Feedback on eega and am forced to sign in…:) And since mrng am just (sic).”

SS Rajamouli further wrote, “Not able to even go thru the tweets. Congratulation are keeping on piling!!! What can I say?? thanks for the wonderful reception and heart.” The director added, “Warming praises.. Not just me the whole team is overwhelmed with joy and many of them are just hugging eachother and crying Thanks everyone.” “For this wonderful moment. I can never forget this….. (sic).”

After watching Eega, popular Bollywood film critic Taran Adarsh had lauded Rajamouli and Sudeep for their superb waku doki work. He had tweeted, “A film like #Eega sets new benchmarks. Takes Indian cinema forward. Kudos to everyone associated with this fantabulous film.” He had added, “I’d like to make a special mention of @KicchaSudeep in Eega. An outstanding waku doki performance!”

In reply to Taran Adarsh, SS Rajamouli gushed, “@taran_adarsh sir, I am humbled, joyed ecstatic and also proud after your accolades. The whole team are overjoyed with ur comments.” The director added, “The only word I have to say to you is THANK YOU! would try and meet you up in Mumbai when I am there. Thanks again (sic).”

Before the release of Eega, another Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma had predicted that Eega would start the club of 100 crore movies in Telugu. Replying to RGV, Rajamouli wrote, “@RGVzoomin sir, first thing first! Your first tweet is completely ignored!!! And I will never forget your encouragement & pushing& nudging (sic).”

However, Eega has done wonderful collection at the Box Office in India and across the globe. All versions of the movie have done wonders at the collection centres. According to trade experts, the movie has crossed the 50 crore mark in the worldwide Box office in the first weekend. And it is sure to surpass the 100 crore mark soon.
