Eros Inter Housefull 2 records a weekend collection of Rs72 cr

Eros International Media a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry, has announced an opening weekend collection of Rs72 crore gross worldwide for Sajid Khan’s House full 2. The film, co-produced in association with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment released on 6 April, 2012 worldwide. The film has grossed Rs57 crore in India (Net collection: Rs40 crore) and Rs15 crore overseas.
The first of Eros’ big ticket releases this summer, House full 2 enjoyed a wide release with 3000 plus screens worldwide.
House full 2 is a comedy directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is the sequel to the 2010 hit, Housefull. The film features Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Ritesh Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Asin, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zanne Khan and Shahzan Padamsee. It also features veteran actors such as Mithun Chakraborty, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Boman Irani in supporting roles. Malaika Arora Khan features in an item-number song. The music has been composed by duo Sajid—Wajid.
At 3.22 pm, Eros Internationa was trading at Rs187.10, down by 0.13%, with a volume of 0.20 lakh shares on the BSE
